You’ll find the restaurant Fork located in the very popular arts, entertainment and shopping district in downtown Boise. I love Fork for the food but also for the “hip and cool” feel of their restaurant. On their web site the owners say that they “painstakingly restored and updated one of Boise’s oldest downtown landmarks into a comfortable, relaxed dining room. Local artisans used reclaimed or recycled materials to craft elements like our tables and glasses.” I say, “If you haven’t been yet, go check it out”. They did a great job!

Fork owners made a “Loyal to Local” pledge, a commitment to getting their main ingredients for their chef’s fabulous creations from local Boise and Northwest farmers, ranchers, bakers, distillers, brewers, producers and cheese makers. This commitment isn’t just for the food. 75% of the beer, spirits and wine served at Fork come from the great Northwest region so you’re sure to find some great beers, booze and wines.
